Ker Bolton and Reverz merge to shape the future of circular IT
Two complementary businesses come together under the Reverz name, combining decades of industry experience, international reach and a complete IT lifecycle offering with technology, data and AI at its core.

ZUG, SWITZERLAND - 24 August 2026 - Ker Bolton and Reverz today announce their merger. The combination brings products, services and expertise across the IT lifecycle together within one organisation, helping customers keep technology in use for longer, maximise its value and make smarter decisions about what comes next.
Customers can rely on one partner for the complete IT lifecycle, with products and services ranging from enterprise hardware and third-party maintenance (TPM) to secure IT asset disposition (ITAD) with certified data erasure, ESG reporting and AI-driven lifecycle intelligence. This complete offering helps organisations lower costs, recover value from their IT assets, reduce the need for new equipment and raw materials, and make their financial and environmental impact visible and measurable.
At the heart of the combined organisation is GAIA, Reverz’s AI-powered second brain, bringing together decades of industry expertise, data and technology. GAIA turns this knowledge into insights that enable smarter decisions on pricing, asset value and the best next destination for IT hardware.
The merger also expands Reverz’s international reach, with two warehouses in the Netherlands and Belgium and seven sales offices across Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Greece, Morocco and Indonesia - creating an international footprint across Europe, Africa and Asia.
Reverz serves customers across telecom, enterprise, data centres and system integration. For existing customers and partners, continuity remains key: the relationships, teams and expertise they know remain in place, while they gain access to the wider products, services and capabilities of the combined organisation.
One platform. Greater visibility. Smarter decisions.
Beyond bringing products and services together, the merger creates the opportunity to connect more of the IT lifecycle through one platform. Through the Reverz portal, customers can access the platform and gain a clearer view of their IT assets - what they own, what those assets are worth, where they are in their lifecycle and what happens to them next.
The ambition is to connect technology from one useful life to the next. When equipment is no longer needed by one end user, the focus is on finding where it can create value next - whether through continued use, maintenance, reuse, remarketing or parts recovery. Recycling is the final step when there is no valuable next use.
At the same time, the platform gives customers greater insight into the results of those decisions, including datawipe, value recovery, reuse and ESG (environmental, social and governance) reporting. Each asset is individually tracked, giving customers a clear record of what happened to their equipment and confirmation that data has been securely erased. This makes both the financial and environmental impact of IT lifecycle decisions more visible and measurable.
Within the platform, GAIA provides the intelligence layer. Using data and AI, GAIA acts as a “second brain” for both customers and Reverz, supporting areas such as pricing, grading and logistics. Although human expertise remains central, technology helps teams and customers make smarter decisions about the value and best next destination of IT assets.
Reverz was built with a clear ambition: to become a leading international platform for the circular IT economy. This merger is an important step in that journey, bringing together complementary capabilities, customer relationships and market positions to better serve customers and accelerate international growth.
But this is only the beginning. We see significant opportunities to grow Reverz through further strategic acquisitions and partnerships, with the ambition to build a pan-European, and ultimately global, platform for the complete IT lifecycle. By combining deep industry expertise with data, AI and scalable technology, we are building the foundation to increase the value of technology for our customers and drive the next phase of growth in circular IT.
Roger van Norden, Founder, Reverz.
Decades of experience, built for what comes next
Behind the technology is more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the circular IT industry, bringing together deep market knowledge and expertise from both Ker Bolton and Reverz.
The combined organisation has deep expertise across networking, server and storage hardware, sourcing, trading and lifecycle services, supported by an established international network of suppliers, end users, brokers and partners.
The combined organisation also benefits from a strong multi-channel approach, creating greater reach across markets and more opportunities to connect IT assets with the right customers and maximise their value.
We know this market, we know the hardware and, most importantly, we know our customers. Joining forces allows us to build on that experience with a broader organisation around us, without losing the personal relationships and market knowledge that got us here. For our customers, this opens up new possibilities while keeping the expertise and way of working they already know.
Martijn Kamerman, Founder, Ker Bolton.
More value from technology
Extending the life of existing equipment can lower costs and reduce the need to purchase new hardware. When equipment is no longer needed, finding the right next use can recover value that might otherwise be lost, while reducing the demand for new equipment and raw materials.
The same approach can reduce environmental impact. By keeping hardware and components in circulation for longer and providing insight into outcomes such as reuse and ESG reporting, Reverz helps customers understand and demonstrate the impact of their IT decisions while supporting their ESG objectives.
In other words: extending the life of technology should not only be the responsible choice. It should make commercial sense too.
Built for international growth
The merger creates a stronger and more scalable foundation for the next phase of Reverz’s international growth, bringing together teams, commercial reach, technology and industry expertise within one organisation.
With a growing international presence across Europe, Africa and Asia, Reverz is building the foundation to expand further into key international markets. The strategy is to scale through a combination of organic growth, strategic partnerships and acquisitions, strengthening both operational capabilities and customer relationships along the way.
The ambition is to build a leading international platform for the circular IT economy, using technology, data and AI to support scalable growth while maintaining the market expertise and customer relationships at its core.
What changes for customers?
For customers and partners, the merger means new possibilities with continuity in the relationships, expertise and service they already know and trust. Existing teams, contacts and market expertise remain in place, ensuring a seamless transition.
At the same time, customers gain access to the complete offering of the combined organisation - from enterprise hardware and CareOne third-party maintenance (TPM) to secure ITAD, ESG reporting and AI-driven lifecycle intelligence.
The combined organisation operates under the Reverz name, bringing these capabilities together under one identity. Customers can rely on one partner for the complete IT lifecycle, while benefiting from broader expertise, international reach and technology-driven capabilities.
The ambition is clear: keep technology in use for longer, maximise its value and help customers make smarter decisions throughout its lifecycle.
